Bio

Peggy Skemp creates and designs Heron Adornment sculptural fine jewelry from her studio in Chicago. Originally from LaCrosse, WI, she learned metal-smithing at GIA in Carlsbad, California before going on to receive her BFA from The Art Institute of Chicago. Peggy's fascination with science is embodied in her jewelry designs, which pose as intimate sculptural scientific illustrations. Peggy uses entirely recycled metals in her casting and sustainable studio practices.
