White Bronze Anatomical Heart Locket

This detailed silver necklace features a 1.5"x .75"x .5" bronze human heart which opens to reveal an anatomically correct interior.

It is pleasantly solid in cast and fabricated white bronze with a hand-build hinge and aorta snap.

The jewelers’ bronze is a white metal but has a slight gold cast when compared to silver. The locket is held shut by the trunk of the aorta, which acts as a snap. The chain attaches to the pendant through the superior vena cava and left pulmonary vein, causing the heart to hang slightly anterioinferiorly.

This locket is an artisan piece made entirely by hand in Chicago. Available on 18" white bronze foxtail chain.
